The amended Yurok Tribe Land Assignment Ordinance codified in this chapter was adopted by emergency legislative act, pursuant to YTC 1.25.090 on June 23, 2022. The Yurok Tribal Council found that there was an immediate and urgent threat to the welfare of Tribal members and the Tribe due to the lack of affordable and accessible housing.
