(a) Must be an enrolled Yurok Tribal Member;
(1) Applicant’s non-Tribal household or family members consent to the jurisdiction of the Yurok Tribe and Tribal Court by virtue of this application;
(b) Must be a competent adult 18 years or older;
(1) Be competent, in that they have the mental capacity to make or carry out important decisions regarding their legal affairs;
(c) Must agree to comply with all Yurok ordinances;
(d) Have the means to develop the land assignment;
(e) Completed an application and passed the background check;
(f) Must not be convicted of a violent crime or moral turpitude within the last 10 years or be required to register as a sexual offender. [Ord. 79 § 1101, amended, 6/23/2022.]
