No party shall have the right to a trial by jury under this chapter. In a trial for any forcible entry or detainer, plaintiff shall only be required to show, in addition to the forcible entry or detainer complained of, that plaintiff was peaceably in actual possession of the premises at the time of the forcible entry or was entitled to possession at the time of the forcible detainer.
