The Council by major action may remove or replace any commissioner from the Board with or without cause at any time by motion of the District Councilmember for the district represented by the commissioner or of the Chairperson. Removal of a commissioner shall be considered a major action under the Constitution of the Yurok Tribe, Article IV, section 5, and shall require the approval of at least five members of the Council, including a vote by the Council Chairperson if needed.
