(a) Upon enactment, the enforcement entities shall make reasonable efforts to provide initial notification of this chapter to farming, forestry, commercial operations and households within the territory and jurisdiction of the Tribe.

(b) The enforcement entities shall make reasonable efforts to notify farming, forestry, and commercial operations and households of technical assistance and resources that may be available to assist with the transition from pesticides to safer alternatives for pest management.

(c) Actions required of the enforcement entities in this section are intended to assist with compliance and assistance. Failure to receive notification does not waive or otherwise affect requirements for compliance with the provisions of this chapter. [Ord. 50C § 10203, adopted, 8/31/2017.]
