12.20.010 Receipt of reports of child maltreatment, investigation and written reports, and cross-notification.

When the YSS receives a report of suspected abuse or neglect, the following shall apply:
(a) Requirement that YSS investigates prior to the filing of petition.
(b) Prior to the filing of a CINA petition under this chapter, YSS shall investigate all reports of child maltreatment and, if appropriate, proceed according to the provisions of this title. [Ord. 46A § 1301(a), adopted, 3/24/2016.]
