The funds accrued by the Yurok Public Utility District and kept on deposit are for the use of the Yurok Public Utility District for the necessary operation, management, maintenance, capital improvements and cash reserves of the Yurok Public Utilities District. At the discretion of the Tribal Council, funds in excess of the authorized amounts necessary for the operation, management, maintenance, capital improvements and adequate cash reserves for the current and future operation of the Yurok Public Utility District may be transferred to the Tribal general fund for other Tribal uses authorized by the Tribal Council. The Yurok Public Utility District shall provide a 10-day written notice to the Tribal Council of their intent to transfer funds to the Tribal general fund.
