A will which does not comply with YTC 2.25.230 is valid as a holographic will if:

(a) The testator was 18 years or older and of sound mind at the time of the will’s creation;

(b) The material provisions are in the handwriting of the testator;

(c) The will is signed by the testator; and

(d) The testator intended that the document will dispose of his or her property after death. [Ord. 50A § 9404, amended, 6/22/2017.]
