All papers drafted for filing in this Court shall be on 8-1/2-by-11-inch paper, plainly written or printed, single sided, and shall be double spaced, except that quotations and footnotes may be single spaced. Typed submissions are preferable; however, the Court will accept handwritten submissions as long as they are clear, legible, written in ink, and otherwise conform to these rules.

Every pleading, motion, or other paper presented for filing shall have the Court name, case name and number (once assigned) displayed and must be signed personally by the party or by the party’s attorney/advocate. In addition, the pleading shall include the party’s name, address, email address if available, and telephone number, typed or printed.

For those matters filed with the Court via email the following applies:

(1) There shall only be filings for one case per email sent to the Clerks. Multiple cases attached to the same email will result in all filings being rejected by the Clerk for resubmission in accordance with these rules.

(2) All pleadings must be submitted in pdf format and be signed (secure digital or ink) prior to submission. All proposed orders must be submitted in both a pdf format and a Word document.

It is the Court’s preference to conform copies of all filings so that if a duplicate filing is presented the Court Clerk will file stamp it to provide proof of filing of the original document. Judgments must be on a separate sheet of paper and shall bear the caption of the action. Orders must also be on a separate sheet of paper and shall bear the caption of the action; with the exception of the Court’s Fee Waiver Request and Order form.
