The subsistence fishery is separate from the commercial fishery and the Tribal Guide Fishery, but includes the Elders’ Fishery. The subsistence fishery authorizes Yurok Tribal members to take fish (a) for direct personal, family, or community consumption for food, barter, or trade; (b) for sale to a Yurok Tribal member for direct personal, family, or community consumption as food; or (c) for the Elders’ Fishery.
