Class II and Class III gaming facilities on the Yurok Reservation shall be constructed, maintained and operated in a manner that adequately protects the environment and the public health and safety, with the Tribe having primary responsibility for assessing the environmental impact of all construction and gaming operations, and taking such measures as it determines may be reasonably necessary to mitigate any adverse environmental impacts as it may identify.
