(a) An officer may resign at any time by providing written notice to the corporation.

(b) A resignation is effective on the date the notice is delivered, unless the notice specifies a later effective date.

(c) If a resignation is made effective at a later date, and the corporation accepts the future effective date, the board of directors may hire someone to fill the pending vacancy prior to the effective date, but cannot place that person in office until start of business on the effective date.

(d) A board of directors may remove any officer at any time with or without cause. [Ord. 18 Part III § 16, adopted, 10/7/2008.]
