Nothing in this chapter shall impair the rights of the parties to compromise any liability that is claimed to exist under this chapter on account of injury, disease or death, subject to the provisions herein. After reaching a compromise, a copy of the release or compromise agreement signed by both the claimant and the administrator shall be presented to the Tribal Council for approval.
