(a) The benefits payable to an injured employee as a result of a compensable work injury resulting in temporary disability of the employee shall be parallel to those benefits recoverable under state law at the time the compensable injury was sustained. However, nothing herein shall mandate that the Tribe provide the exact same benefits recoverable under state law.

(b) Except for severe injuries that usually require extended recuperation (e.g., severe burns, amputations, and major surgeries), temporary disability benefits shall not extend beyond 104 weeks. For severe injuries, temporary disability shall not extend beyond 240 weeks. [Ord. 47 § 1402, adopted, 11/10/2016.]
