Within 10 days after the appointment of the initial utility authority board of directors, there shall be an organizational meeting of the utility authority to elect a chairperson, vice-chairperson and a secretary/treasurer from among the board of directors. The officers shall be elected annually thereafter, at the first meeting immediately following the appointment by the Tribal Council of the new director(s) (see YTC 25.10.050).
