The Yurok Public Utility District Ordinance authorizes the Yurok Public Utility Authority to establish a Yurok Public Utility District and to levy appropriate user fees, liens and other types of assessments to residents, businesses, agencies, and organizations operating within or near the exterior boundaries of the Yurok Reservation pursuant to the authority vested in the Yurok Tribe by its Constitution, and particularly by Article I, Section 4 and Article IV, Section 5 thereof. The boundaries of the Yurok Public Utility District shall be the exterior boundaries of the Yurok Reservation and any additional areas served by the utility authority under its discretion in YTC 25.05.060.
