(a) No dwelling or building subject to the provisions of this chapter shall be occupied or used until the Building Administrator shall have issued a certificate of occupancy to the owner or his duly authorized agent. Within five days after notification that the dwelling or building is ready for occupancy, the Building Administrator shall make final inspection thereof and, if it is found to be in conformity with the provisions of this chapter, shall issue the owner or his agent a certificate of compliance and occupancy.

(b) Additionally, prior to the certificate of occupancy being issued, two sets of as-built drawings shall be filed with the Department with a certification by the contractor that all work has been done in accordance with the requirements of the relevant permit. If all the conditions have been met, a certificate of occupancy shall be issued within 10 business days after the final inspection is completed. [Ord. 50.1 § 4104, adopted, 5/11/2017.]
