24.20.020 Purpose.

The purpose of the Yurok Tribe Building and Construction Ordinance is to:
(a) Ensure that buildings constructed on the Reservation are safe for human occupancy;
(b) Establish a minimum building standard for the safety of the property owner and future property owners and occupants; and
(c) Provide for the issuance of permits and assertion of Tribal jurisdiction. [Ord. 50.1 § 4002, adopted, 5/11/2017.]
