(a) The Committee shall assign staff to monitor operation compliance. If the permittee is not in compliance with provisions of this chapter, citation(s) shall be issued and shall be enforced by the Department of Public Safety. It shall be a civil offense, for which a fine of not less than $100.00 per day nor more than $10,000 per day shall be assessed for each day of the offense, to obstruct or otherwise interfere with investigative or other activities of any agent or officer of the Tribe.

(b) Violation of a permit issued under this chapter, of any terms of this chapter, including notices or failure to pay costs or make any deposit required under YTC 21.30.120, or of any required permit related to this project, including environmental and cultural permits, may result in the immediate cancellation of any permit, injunctive relief, and damages. Permittee shall be liable for all costs, including staff time, involved in preparing a cancellation of a permit due to such a violation. [Ord. 27 § 6022, adopted, 6/27/2012.]
