(a) Upon enactment, YTEP shall make reasonable efforts to provide initial notification of this chapter to farming, forestry, and fishery operations within the territory and jurisdiction of the Tribe.

(b) YTEP shall make reasonable efforts to notify farming, forestry, and fishing operations of technical assistance and resources that may be available to assist with the transition from genetically engineered organisms to natural organisms.

(c) Actions required of YTEP in this section are intended to assist farming, forestry, and fishing operations with compliance and assistance. Failure to receive notification does not waive or otherwise affect requirements for compliance with the provisions of this chapter. [Ord. 46 § 8203, adopted, 12/10/2015.]
