This chapter establishes a procedure and penalties for the discharge of pollutants into the air within the exterior boundaries of the YIR. The discharge of pollutants on public and private lands within the exterior boundaries of the YIR is a public nuisance and hazard potentially jeopardizing the health, safety, and welfare of persons, property, and the environment within the exterior boundaries of the YIR. Furthermore, the discharge of pollutants into the air negatively impacts air quality within the exterior boundaries of the YIR. [Ord. 12 § 2, adopted, 4/7/2005.]
