Any Tribal member may apply to the YDMV for a Tribal driver’s license to operate a private vehicle, standard motor car. To be eligible for a Tribal driver’s license, that person must meet the following licensing requirements:
(a) The applicant is at least 18 years of age and resides within the Yurok Reservation.
(b) The applicant submits the required application and fee, which may be waived if the person is not employed or under-employed so that the paying of such fee would impair their ability to care for themselves or their family.
