When seeking to suspend fines or when seeking community service in lieu of fines because of a claim of hardship, a defendant must provide the Tribal Court with written evidence demonstrating the defendant’s current hardship. The defendant has the burden of proving that an imposition of fines would cause such a hardship. [Ord. 30 § 3309, adopted, 10/12/2012.]
