2.30.290 Intent of the testator controlling.

(a) During probate proceedings, the Tribal Court shall give effect to the intent of the testator as expressed in the will or other admissible evidence in all matters unless prohibited by law.
(b) Notwithstanding subsection (a) of this section, a person who is related to the decedent through two lines of relationship is entitled to only a single share in the decedent’s estate based on the relationship that would entitle such person to the larger share.
