2.10.890 Notification of rights at time of arrest.

Immediately upon arrest the suspect shall be advised of the following rights:
(a) That he or she has the right to remain silent; and
(b) That any statements made by the suspect may be used against him or her in court; and
(c) That the suspect has the right to obtain counsel, have counsel provided if indigent, and have counsel present during all questioning. [Ord. 81, amended, 1/6/2023; Ord. 63, adopted, 12/6/2019.]
