(a) Any person regulated under this title who alleges professional misconduct against a law enforcement officer may file a complaint, in writing, with the Director of the Yurok Tribe Department of Public Safety. The Director of the Yurok Tribe Department of Public Safety shall, without unreasonable delay, cause an investigation to be conducted into any allegation of misconduct by a law enforcement officer in carrying out the duties of that office. Upon completion of the investigation, the Director shall make available to the complainant the findings of the investigation. The Director shall ensure that the appropriate actions occur pursuant to such findings.

(b) Any person who is not satisfied with the determination of the Director may appeal the determination to the Executive Director. [Ord. 44 § 1810, adopted, 7/23/2015.]
