(a) Notice Generally. Except as otherwise provided in YTC 15.10.320, the Tribal Prosecutor shall serve notice of a complaint for forfeiture, in accordance with Tribal Court Rules, to every person known to have alleged an interest in the property subject to forfeiture. If the identity or interest of a party is not determined until after the forfeiture action is filed but before an order of forfeiture is entered, notice shall be sent to such interested party no later than 60 days, unless extended by Tribal Court order, from determination of that party’s identity or interest.

(b) Notice for Real Property. In addition to the requirements of subsection (a) of this section, the Tribal Prosecutor shall initiate a civil forfeiture action against real property by posting notice of a complaint of forfeiture on the property.
