15.10.230 Monetary civil fines or penalties.

(a) The maximum monetary civil fine or penalty that may be imposed for a violation of this chapter is the maximum permitted under the Indian Civil Rights Act of 1968, 25 U.S.C. § 1302, as amended. Each day during which a violation exists shall constitute a separate offense.
(b) Tribal Council by resolution without amending this chapter may:
(1) Establish a controlled substance fine and bail schedule setting bail, fines, and administrative fees for any violation of this chapter; and
(2) Adjust the minimum monetary civil fine or penalty amounts specified in this chapter. [Ord. 82 § 4202, amended, 4/10/2023; Ord. 35 § 4203, adopted, 2/6/2014.]
