A “Yurok family law guardianship” is a court proceeding in which a legal guardian is appointed by the Yurok Tribal Court to protect a child.

If custody of the child was awarded to a nonparent through YTC Title 12, Children’s Code, as amended, this chapter does not apply. [Ord. 50 § 14.1, adopted, 3/23/2017.]
