The parent-and-child relationship between a child and:

(a) The natural mother may be established by proof of her having given birth to the child, or under this chapter;

(b) The natural father may be established under this chapter;

(c) An adoptive or permanent parent may be established by proof of adoption or other relationship evidencing a permanent parental relationship under the laws of the Yurok Tribe; and/or

(d) If a person including those detailed in this section or a person other than those noted above seeks to establish a parental relationship with a child they may present the factual basis for such a claim. [Ord. 50 § 6.2, adopted, 3/23/2017.]
