The Yurok Tribal Court has jurisdiction over any request for an order for protection under this chapter when the petitioner or respondent resides or is found within the boundaries of the Yurok Reservation, the act of harassment or domestic violence occurred within the boundaries of the Yurok Reservation, or the Yurok Tribal Court is being asked to recognize and enforce a valid order of another court of competent jurisdiction.
