The Yurok Tribal Council has the authority to define civil offenses and sanction violators as part of its regulatory jurisdiction over the conduct of persons and activities on the Reservation. The Yurok Tribal Council has the authority to adopt the ordinance codified in this chapter pursuant to Article IV, Section 5 of the Constitution of the Yurok Tribe.
