A poll vote is an informal vote outside of the agenda of a regularly scheduled Council meeting by Council members to gauge a position on an emergency issue. A poll vote on an issue may occur in emergency situations when immediate action is necessary to protect Tribal interests, and such poll vote shall, if appropriate, be subsequently formalized by Council action at the next duly called meeting. Polling shall require a phone call, email, and text to all Council members indicating the time for a discussion and providing all Council members an opportunity to participate in the discussion regarding the issue. Polling may take place by telephone or video conference or in person. [Ord. 72, renumbered, 2/11/2021; Ord. 32 § 6102, adopted, 9/5/2013. Formerly 1.15.100.]
